Industrialization in Nigeria cannot be explain further without giving the meaning of the term.

Industrialization refers to a process of social and economic change whereby a human society is transformed from a pre industrial to an industrial state.
    It can also said to be the coming Together of different industries to a particular area. At this level it should be noted that industrialization just has to deal with changing human efforts to machine effort.

   Let's get to the main bone of contention,

Problems of industrialization in Nigeria.

LACK OF RAW MATERIALS:

 Non availability of raw materials from the agricultural sector of the economy is a sevial problem to nearby industries.
Most times the raw materials produce is not enough for the available industries thereby making industries to depend highly on foreign raw materials which takes a lot of time time and money before it arrives their destination.

  NO ACCESS TO LOANS;

 The financial institutions makes manufacturers and investors plans to be limited.
Industrialist are now imposed with so much requirements , collaterals and negligence from banks. They take a lot  of time to approve and start the negotiations before giving out loans to industrialists thereby hindering the growth of industries in our belove country.

   LACK OF TECHNICAL KNOW HOW-

There is lack of knowledge on how to handle most of the industrial machines thereby leading to under production. This is mainly caused by lack of education and non availability of technical education in both secondary and tertiary institutions.

  INSTABILITY OF GOVERNMENT-:

The changes in political power has been a Bootle neck to industrialist. A new government can come into power and change a law that has been contributing to the growth of industries. Eg banning of imported raw materials, foreign machines etc.
   LACK OF BASIC AMENITIES:-

The unavailability of basic basic structures like good roads, source of water and water resources, lack of electricity etc has amount to great discouragement to industrialists.

  DEPENDENCE OF FOREIGN GOODS:

 The fact that citizens no longer patronize goods made here in Nigeria Has discourage the industries or individuals who have intention of setting up one.
Masses now believe in the talking that foreign goods are more better than goods made in Nigeria and now import These goods from abroad.

     SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS OF INDUSTRIALIZATION IN NIGERIA.

  ENCOURAGING THE USE OF LOCAL GOODS-
If government can make it a duty to ban most of the goods which are imported in this country when we have excess of them. I think that citizens can look back and accept the fact that we have our own pride and goods here.

IMPROVED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM;

The Nigerian government should make the educational system not to only focus in reading and writing exams. Technical training in form of skill acquisition should be included in the Nigerian school curriculum to enable graduates to have a skill even after graduation. No firm will employ someone who have only knowledge of writing.

  PROVISION OF BASIC AMENITIES-:

 Good roads, electricity and security should be provided to boost the trust of industrialist and also to speed up their growth.

The agricultural sector of the economy should be given a large budget at the beginning of them each year. It is only when agriculture is boosted ,the raw materials needed for the production by individuals will not only be available buy be enough.

During change in political powers, it should be checked to make sure that an incoming government doesn't imposed a law that will only benefit him and knock away industries who are his competitors.
Laws should be made since humans can't be rely on.

   However,if the problems of industrialization in Nigeria is tackled with these solutions provided . I strongly believe that there will be reduction in the rate of poverty, and increase employment rate leads to developed sector and in all boost economy of the nation.
